City of Los Angeles Boyle Heights Lineage Fire Business Assistance, Workforce Stabilization and Layoff Aversion Business Grant Application

Business must have been open and impacted by the June 17, 2026 Lineage Fire.  Business must provide documented proof of impact (required documentation will be collected in the application). Business must be one of the following business types:

• Corporation
• Limited Liability Corporation (LLC)
• Partnership
• Sole proprietorship* with one or more employees, not including the owner(s). *Please note sole proprietors without employees are not eligible to apply. 

 PART 1: Application 

● Complete and submit the application 

● An email confirmation will be sent to confirm application receipt. 

● An initial review will be conducted to determine basic eligibility. 

● Ineligible applications will be notified

PART 2: Business Needs Assessment (After Initial Eligibility Confirmation) 

● New Economics for Women, the technical assistance provider for this grant, will contact applicants that meet basic eligibility requirements. 

● A Business Needs Assessment and Planned Use of Funds Form will be completed.
